The reconstruction of Elizabeth Station is a rehabilitation and expansion project that includes two newly reconstructed station buildings, 4 new elevators decorated in art glass, added handicap accessibilities along the platforms, rehabilitated/new high-level platforms on both sides of the tracks including 4 new platform level waiting rooms with 7 rehabilitated/new staircases. The new station is lined with decorative ornamental fencing from street to platform levels, accompanied by a reconstructed Low-Level Platform allowing easy access from street level sidewalks to platforms.
